Welcome to Gutten Haus Kennels

Gutten Haus kennels is located in Sandwich, Illinois. We have 21 acres for our dogs to run and play on. Our dogs are played with and worked every day.

The dogs here are not just kennel dogs and are a very big part of our family, they are like our children. We do not believe a German Shepherd can thrive mentally or physically if they are kept as just kennel dogs.

 Many Gutten Haus puppies have become excellent working dogs and excel at Schutzhund, AKC Competition, Search & Rescue, Law Enforcement, Bomb Detection, Narcotics, Estate dogs, and Personal Protection.

Gutten Haus also has young dogs available from time to time, Fully trained Estate dogs, Family Protection, SAR, Green dogs for Bomb Detection and K-9. and are wonderful family companions.

Our training is done in motivation only. We work with these dogs daily and these dogs have excellent temperments and are placed with written contracts. Some of these dogs are trained in obeidience, housebroken, good with children, good with other animals, trained in scent work, trained in protection. Some of these dogs will be spayed and neautered and are not intended for breeding, only for working.

Gutten Haus puppies are raised in a loving home and handled consistently from day 1. They are temperament tested, heavily socialized, vet checked, shots, wormed and are fully guaranteed in writing on hips and health.

Here at Gutten Haus you can bet you will be getting a very outgoing, healthy, top quality puppy, along with a breeder you can work with throughout your pups life.
